MakeTimePastFaster
I had a loss this month in my family, and the only thing that seems to clear the futur and what would that be the impact of this loss, seems to be time.
So I took time to make it a video game about trying to convert time into good things, into happy blue grains of sands in the hourglass of time, and trying to speed up the flow of time/sand.
Mostly play like an incremental game (permanent upgrade, game that don't stop until the end), a tower defence (place some tower in the hourglass to speedup things), and a flow managment (time can be stuck, you can have too many grain trying to pass in a narrow corridor...).
You can't lose, you can't be stuck, so even if everything is not clear, you can just test things if you're curious. Playing badly is just "losing time".
For the futur, I would like to redo the sound (just sample of rain and stuff on youtube), keep minimalist graphics but not THAT minimalist, and introduce a small scenario with little skeetch and art between each main upgrade, to teel what I see in this game.
The physics is simple/funky but I prefer it that way : just a grid where everything is simple, predetermined, without "I don't understand what this is happening" moments, no need to use an IA to understand the code...
In theory can be finished in 3 hours if you're smart and active (no more than 10 minutes idle sessions), but will probably be less than 10 hours for a first run while discovering the game.
It's just a fast prototype, trying to be relaxing while passing the time.
The web version can be kind of laggy in the end game, so don't hesitate to ask for the linux or windows version if you've gone this far and are interested.I try to make it work on smartphone, but don't really know if I did a good job for now.
